“Spring into balance” is an initiative guided by the friends at Good Not Perfect, Simplify, Live, Love, and some other guests who will be making thoughtful contributions over the upcoming weeks. This 10 week initiative is aimed at simplifying, finding time for yourself, and being happier. You can read about the 10 week project here and here.

This week’s journal entry assignment (Assignment: Week 1) was about taking inventory.

As the exercise instructed, I took a meditational approach to looking back over the last week to evaluate the good, the bad, and the ugly.  I made my list.   Even making this list has me feeling a little more in control.  If you want to peek into my journal and read my full entry, I’ll share a link to it below.

Mary’s Week 1 Journal Entry

Remember, it’s not too late to start your weekly journal!  The whole challenge is geared around finding time for yourself a few times a week – not even every day (we all realize how hard it is to do ANYTHING every day).  Please join us if you wish!  And if you so choose, post pictures of your week with a hashtag #springintobalance so we can follow along with what the highs and lows of your week were!
