Spring is here. As you can tell from our “Spring into Balance” Challenge, we are pretty excited. One of the things that we love doing is getting out in the garden. Emily is a long time gardener, whereas Laura is fairly new to the hobby but really enjoys it. Last year Laura grew some kale (and lots of cabbage worms!) and Emily started clearing out the garden in her rental home to make room for some new and beautiful foliage.

We continue our journey this week in a phase of reflection. If you haven’t joined us, here’s all you need to know to catch up: There are 168 hours in a week, and we’re working hard to give two of these hours to ourselves.
It’s definitely not too late to join in. The bottom line is that we are not putting pressure on ourselves to do ANYTHING every single day. We are just trying to be conscious of setting aside a small fraction of our waking hours each week for nobody but ourselves.

The past few weeks I’ve been trying to write more things down. To free my mind. So, this is a self-serving post, for that moment I find myself sitting down to make a shopping list with no clue where to begin. As you know I start a new job next week, and will be working Fridays again full time, so I will need to be even better about meal planning. Of course just in time I came down with an awful cold. So, I’ve been busy on Pinterest while I sit on the couch “enjoying” my pile of kleenexes, hot tea and chills (ok, maybe enjoying is an overstatement). Anyway, I thought I’d share some of my favorite finds of the week with you guys because I know you both can relate to that weekly question of “What’s For Dinner“.
